Ingredients
- 12 oz broccoli florets

- 1.5 tbsp shaoxing wine (or Dry Sherry Wine)
- 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
- 1.5 tsp cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 3/4 cup cold water
Instructions
- Wash and strain the broccoli florets.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, shaoxing wine, sesame oil, cornstarch, sugar, and cold water.
- Bring water to boil in a wok or large pan; add the broccoli and blanch for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Strain the broccoli and place on a serving plate.
- Dry the wok/pan and heat over medium; pour in the sauce mixture and simmer until thickened (about 1-2 minutes).
- Pour the sauce over the broccoli and serve immediately.
