  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp ground smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then slice it thinly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, vegetable oil, maple syrup, liquid smoke, dijon mustard, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Marinate the tofu slices in the mixture for at least 15 minutes (or overnight for more flavor).
