  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cans kidney beans (15 oz each), drained and rinsed
  • 1 can pinto beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
  • Spices: chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper (optional), salt, black pepper

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and green bell pepper; mince the garlic.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked.
  3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper; sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, beans, and spices; stir well to combine.
  6. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer for 30–45 minutes.
