Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 6 oz each)
  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
  • Olive oil and butter

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear seasoned steaks for 4–5 minutes per side. Let them rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and whisk in Parmesan until thickened.
  4. Toss cooked pasta in the creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency. Stir in sliced steak just before serving.
