  • 24 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 10.5 oz peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and sauté the shrimp with minced garlic until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add Italian seasoning, followed by heavy cream, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  4. Lower the heat and let the sauce simmer for 8-10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Stir in cooked tortellini and parmesan cheese until creamy; add shrimp back to heat through.
