  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup (100ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) milk
  • 1 3/4 cups (230g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (85g) pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare a 9×5 loaf pan with grease and parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, spices, salt) in one bowl; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine sugars, pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture; add milk until blended.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and top with streusel.
  6. Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Prepare maple glaze by whisking powdered sugar and maple syrup together.
  8. Drizzle glaze over warm bread after removing from oven; cool before slicing.
