  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pineapple by peeling, coring, and dicing it into small chunks.

  3. Add the reserved pineapple chunks to the boiling syrup and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 10 minutes while stirring occasionally.

  5. Transfer the cooled mixture into sterilized jars, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
