Ingredients
- 1 ½ tbsp butter
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ cup onion (chopped)
- 1 lb boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Sauté chopped green bell pepper and onion in melted butter over medium heat until softened. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, cook rib-eye steak, seasoning with salt and pepper until browned. Combine with sautéed veggies.
- Lay out egg roll wrappers; place half a slice of provolone cheese and 2-3 tbsp of the filling on each wrapper.
- Fold and seal each egg roll with water along the edges.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
