Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tbsp butter
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • ½ cup onion (chopped)
  • 1 lb boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Sauté chopped green bell pepper and onion in melted butter over medium heat until softened. Remove from pan.
  2. In the same pan, cook rib-eye steak, seasoning with salt and pepper until browned. Combine with sautéed veggies.
  3. Lay out egg roll wrappers; place half a slice of provolone cheese and 2-3 tbsp of the filling on each wrapper.
  4. Fold and seal each egg roll with water along the edges.
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve warm with ranch dressing or your preferred dipping sauce.
