  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (Optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 8 oz. water chestnuts (drained and diced)
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 head butter lettuce

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, diced onions, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, grated ginger, sesame oil, sugar, and Sriracha; cook for another 2 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Mix in diced water chestnuts and green onions; season with salt and pepper. Heat for an additional minute.
  4. Spoon the mixture into each lettuce leaf and enjoy!
