  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Granulated sugar (for rolling)
  • 1 package Hershey's Kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 4 minutes).
  3. Add creamy peanut butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract; mix for another 2 minutes while scraping down the bowl.
  4. Gradually stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined; chill dough for about 30 minutes if time permits.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and coat in granulated sugar. Place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are lightly golden but centers are still soft.
  7. Immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven.
