  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons refined coconut oil or melted butter
  • 2 eggs or flax eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, non-dairy milk, melted coconut oil or butter, eggs or flax eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. Stir until fully combined; the batter will be thick.
  4. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and spread the brownie batter evenly in the pan.
  5. Bake for about 22–28 minutes until fudgy in the center—use a toothpick to check doneness.
