  • 4 (6 oz) salmon filets
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 tsp water
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Combine with all other sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Line a baking sheet with oiled foil. Place salmon filets evenly spaced and baste with half of the sauce.
  4. Bake for 14 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  5. Baste again and broil for about one minute to achieve a golden top.
