  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ cups beef broth
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • â…“ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Clean and slice mushrooms; season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat; sear chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté mushrooms in the same skillet until tender; add flour and stir.
  4. Gradually pour in beef broth while whisking to prevent lumps. Add bouillon, soy sauce, onion powder, mustard powder, thyme, white wine, and garlic; simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, cover with sauce, and simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Mix cornstarch with water to thicken sauce; stir in heavy cream before serving.
