Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (325°F) and prepare your loaf tin by greasing it and lining it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, sieve the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- Cream softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and pale. Gradually add in the beaten eggs, ensuring to mix in the vanilla extract afterward.
- Alternate adding half of the milk and half of the flour mixture while mixing on low speed; repeat with remaining milk and flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin and bake for about 1 hour or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the tin briefly before transferring to a cooling rack.
