  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, half the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Place flour in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.
  5. Mix remaining Parmesan with mozzarella and garlic; top each chicken breast with this mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
