- 3 tbsp bacon grease or olive oil
- 1 lb ground turkey or preferred ground meat
- 4 ribs celery, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 12 oz frozen cauliflower rice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp oregano, dried
- 1/4 tsp thyme, dried
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp salt, divided
- 1 tsp garlic powder, divided
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water or chicken stock for added flavor
- Sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat, add bacon grease and ground meat. Season with salt and pepper; cook until browned.
