  • 6 strips bacon, diced
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • Chopped green onions and diced tomatoes (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crisp, then set aside while keeping the grease.
  3. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess grease.
  5. Mix bacon into the beef mixture; let cool slightly.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  7. Spread beef mixture in a greased baking dish; layer with half the cheese.
  8. Pour egg mixture over it and top with remaining cheese.
