Instructions

- Gradually add flour, mixing well after each addition, then combine with baking powder and salt.

- Shape dough into balls (about 1½ tablespoons each) and place on sheets with enough space between them.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until tops are dry; cool before glazing.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, anise extract, and milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled cookies and top with nonpareils.
