  • 2 eggs

  5. Mix in vanilla and melted butterscotch chips; add cooled beer reduction.
  6. Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk until just combined.
  7. Divide batter between pans and bake for about 29 minutes. Cool before frosting.
  8. For frosting, beat butter with melted butterscotch chips and powdered sugar until smooth.
  9. Frost cooled cakes generously and drizzle with additional butterscotch sauce if desired.
