  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz fettuccine or preferred pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; cook until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes). Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt 4 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  4. In another pan, melt remaining butter over medium heat; add garlic and sauté briefly before adding heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Toss cooked pasta into the creamy sauce until well coated. Serve topped with garlic butter chicken and garnish with parsley.
