- 225 g dark chocolate
- 56 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 100 g caster sugar
- 90 g Demerara sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 85 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160ºC (320ºF) for fan settings or 170ºC (338ºF) for conventional ovens. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Mix in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together caster sugar, demerara sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; fold in chocolate chips.
