  • 2 large sweet onions (Vidalia)
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • ¾ cup dry white wine (Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 6 slices Gruyere cheese
  • Baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Slice onions into ¼-inch thick pieces.
