  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a bowl, mix together sour cream, milk, melted butter, and French onion soup mix until blended.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. Pour half of the creamy mixture over them. Repeat with remaining potatoes and mixture.
  5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
