Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice until well mixed.
  4. Pour the rice mixture into the prepared baking pan and place the chicken breasts on top.
  5. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  6. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Optionally, uncover during the last 10 minutes of baking to sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Let stand for about 5 minutes before serving.
