Description

Easy Lentil Patties (with Lemon Tahini Dip) are a deliciously crispy and nutritious option that suits any occasion, from snacking to serving at gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry red lentils (soaked overnight)
  • 1 medium white onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • ½ tablespoon chickpea flour
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • Sea salt & pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Drain the soaked lentils and blend them in a food processor with onion, garlic, tomato paste, chickpea flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until slightly chunky.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties about 1 inch thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties in batches until golden brown on both sides (about 4–5 minutes).
  4. For the dip, mix tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, sea salt, and water until smooth.
