  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • Salt & pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Flour (for dredging)
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Cremini mushrooms
  • Garlic
  • Marsala wine
  • Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge in flour.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken cutlets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining butter and sliced mushrooms to the skillet; cook until browned (3-5 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic; cook for 30 seconds. Pour in marsala wine and bubble for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet; cook until fully done (4-5 minutes). Adjust seasoning before serving.
