  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 small sliced onion
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp regular soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. Boil water in a large pan and blanch chow mein noodles for 20-30 seconds; drain in a colander.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in the same pan; sauté onions, cabbage, and celery for about 1 minute until softened.
  4. Push veggies aside, add remaining oil, noodles, and prepared sauce; toss until well-coated.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
