  • 6 strips bacon (cut into small pieces)
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  4. Remove mushrooms from the pan and deglaze with chicken broth or wine; stir in Italian seasoning, lemon juice, flour, and Dijon mustard.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for about 2 minutes before returning mushrooms and bacon to the pan.
  6. Toss drained pasta with the sauce; season with salt and pepper.
