Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup + 2 Tbsp heat-treated all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 200 g milk chocolate (chopped)
  • 200 g dark chocolate (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread flour on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Line another baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Whisk cooled flour with sea salt in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Beat butter until creamy; add sugars and beat until fluffy. Mix in vanilla.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture, then milk while mixing until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop out mixture into balls using a cookie scoop, place on prepared baking sheet, and freeze for 30 minutes.
  7. Melt milk and dark chocolate separately in microwave-safe bowls until smooth.
  8. Dip each frozen ball into melted chocolate and return to baking sheet to set.
  9. Chill dipped truffles for about 15 minutes before serving.
