  • 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1 rib celery, finely diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cool water.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, pepper, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add diced onion, celery, and bell pepper; mix well.
  3. Combine cooled pasta with half of the dressing in a large bowl. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Before serving, add remaining dressing and toss again.
