Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for cinnamon sugar mixture)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar with 2 tablespoons of cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13" baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Unroll one can of crescent dough onto waxed paper and press seams together. Place it in the pan over the cinnamon sugar layer.
  6. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the dough layer.
  7. Roll out the second can of crescent dough and place it on top of the filling.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar on top and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
