Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×4 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Top with remaining chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
