  • 7-ounce container plain Greek yogurt
  • 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: In a large bowl, mix Greek yogurt with garam masala, lemon juice, black pepper, and ginger. Add chopped chicken to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Sear the chicken: Heat a nonstick pan on high, add marinated chicken in batches until golden brown on all sides. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Simmer the sauce: In the same pan, combine tomato sauce, cream, garlic, garam masala, paprika, salt, and cayenne. Add seared chicken and simmer for 20 minutes until thickened.
