  • 1 1/2 lb Springer mountain farms chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Season chicken with this mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear seasoned chicken on each side for about 5 minutes until browned.
  4. Lower heat, cover, and cook chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (about 10-12 minutes).
  5. Remove chicken and add butter to the skillet. Stir in shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Add gluten-free flour, then gradually pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, whisking until smooth.
  7. Stir in shredded Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
  8. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until well-coated.
  9. Slice chicken and fold into the pasta mixture before serving hot.
