  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional)
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), black pepper, salt, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), and cornstarch slurry.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter. Cook the marinated chicken until golden brown; set aside.
  4. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot; stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and combine everything well for another few minutes.
  6. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot garnished with green onions.
