  • 8 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons Better than Bouillon Chicken
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 4 carrots (diced)
  • 4 celery stalks (diced)
  • 2 small yellow onions (diced)
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups Bisquick

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water and Better than Bouillon Chicken to a boil. Add shredded chicken, butter, carrots, celery, and onions.
  2. Simmer for about 10 minutes. In a bowl, whisk flour, milk, Italian seasoning, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth; stir into the pot.
  3. In another bowl, mix Bisquick with salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; add milk until just combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dumpling batter into the boiling mixture. Cover tightly and reduce heat; cook for about 15-20 minutes without lifting the lid.
