Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 12 dinner rolls (preferably King's Hawaiian)
- 16 slices American cheese
- 1/2 white onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. butter (divided)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for burger sauce)
- Optional toppings: pickles, lettuce, tomatoes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter the bottom of a baking sheet.
- Sauté diced onions in olive oil until translucent. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the bottom halves of dinner rolls on the baking sheet and add half the cheese slices.
- Spread the beef mixture over the cheese and top with remaining cheese slices before placing the top halves of rolls on.
- Brush melted butter over sliders and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, sugar, vinegar for the burger sauce.
- Serve warm with sauce on the side.
