Ingredients
- 2 cans cinnamon rolls
- 4 large apples (Granny Smith or Golden Delicious)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ¼ – 1/3 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease an 8 x 8 inch glass or ceramic dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into slices and roll them out thinly on a floured surface.
- Layer the flattened cinnamon rolls at the bottom of your dish, pressing them down firmly.
- Spread half of the apple filling over the first layer and drizzle with caramel sauce before adding another layer of cinnamon rolls.
- Repeat with the remaining apple filling and top with any leftover rolls.
