- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon; press into the bottom of the pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in vanilla.
- Toss diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; layer over the crust.
- Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the apples; top with remaining filling.
- Make crumble topping by combining flour, brown sugar, cold butter, and pecans; sprinkle over cheesecake layer.
- Bake for about 45 minutes until set in the center; cool completely before cutting.
- Prepare caramel sauce by cooking sugar and water until golden brown; stir in cream and butter.
