  • 8 oz flank steak (or skirt steak), thinly sliced
  • 8 oz fresh Hong Kong pan fry noodles (or thin noodles)
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 4 heads baby bok choy, quartered
  • Garlic, ginger, onion, and carrot for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef with Shaoxing wine, cornstarch, and salt; let it sit while preparing other ingredients.
  2. Prepare the sauce by mixing beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, Chinkiang vinegar, and white pepper.
  3. Cook the noodles as per package instructions; drain and set aside.
  4. Fry the noodles until crispy on both sides; transfer to a serving plate.
  5. Sauté marinated beef in the same pan until browned; remove from heat.
  6. Stir-fry onion and carrot; add garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  7. Add bok choy and cook until softened.
  8. Pour in the prepared sauce; thicken before combining with beef and noodles.
