- 1/3 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Boil water in a medium pot and cook ramen noodles for 2-3 minutes. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
- In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook seasoned sirloin strips until browned; remove from pan.
- Add broccoli to the same skillet with water; cover and steam until bright green.
- Return steak and add ramen; pour in the sauce and stir to combine. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
