- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (270 grams) (I used dark)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat cubed butter with brown and granulated sugars until smooth.
- Mix in melted dark chocolate, then add egg and vanilla; combine well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for at least 3 hours or overnight.
- Scoop dough into balls (about 1/4 cup) and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until tops are set. Cool before serving.
