Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry)
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Oil spray

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken wings in a bowl or ziplock bag with peanut oil, Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, ginger, sugar, salt, and garlic powder. Let marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (176°C).
  3. Drain and pat chicken wings dry. Coat them with a mixture of cornstarch.
  4. Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with oil.
  5. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy and golden brown.
